Project Description

AECS has been contracted by numerous customers, generally engineering firms, to provide Direct Push Technology (DPT) and hollow-stem auger drilling services to obtain soil and groundwater samples and to install temporary and permanent monitoring wells at a variety of locations and in a variety of soils throughout the southeastern US.  AECS has provided these services using its Geoprobe Model 6600, the largest and most capable Geoprobe System on the market today. Following is a sample list of customers and the services provided to them recently.

Client 1

1. Premium Oil, Columbus, GA: 8 soil borings, 7 monitoring wells,  drumming, T&D of water/soil.

2. Palmer�s Station, Hiawassee, GA: 3 soil borings, 3 monitoring wells.

3. US Postal Service, McCormick, SC: 2  soil borings.

4. Conoco 10043, Jonesboro, GA: 2 soil  borings.

5. Bubba�s Convenience Store, Clyo, GA: 5 soil borings, 6 monitoring wells.

6. US Navy, NAS Whiting Field,  Milton, FL: 120 soil borings, some to depths greater than 100 feet.

7. Clark�s Superette, Gay, GA:  10 Soil borings with sampling; 11 monitoring wells drilled with hollow stem auger.

8. US Navy, NCBC, Gulfport, MS: soil borings (4) for the collection of soil and groundwater samples.

9. All-American Car Wash and BP Station, Athens, GA:  Installation of one monitoring well to 40�.

10. One Stop Gas & Grocery, Marietta, GA: Installation of 9 monitoring wells.

11. US Postal Service, Main Post Office, Roswell, GA:  4 soil borings with soil and groundwater sampling and installation of 7 ea 30�-40� monitoring wells.
