AECS responded on short notice to an environmental emergency at an industrial facility involving a release of hazardous materials. Our team mobilized rapidly with the necessary equipment and personnel to contain the release, assess the extent of impact, and manage all required regulatory notifications.

Scope of Work

  • Same-day mobilization of field personnel and emergency response equipment
  • Immediate source control and release containment measures
  • Emergency soil and surface water sampling to delineate the impacted area
  • Coordination with Georgia EPD and local emergency management authorities
  • Preparation and submission of required spill notification reports
  • Excavation and removal of acutely impacted soils
  • Proper containerization, manifesting, and disposal of contaminated material
  • Site stabilization and interim remedial measures pending long-term cleanup planning
