AECS provided stormwater compliance services for a large-scale land development project, helping the client meet all NPDES General Permit requirements throughout construction. Services included installation of erosion and sedimentation controls, regular inspections, and water quality sampling.

Scope of Work

• Review of the site Erosion, Sedimentation & Pollution Control (ES&PC) Plan
• Installation of silt fences, inlet protection, construction exits, and other BMPs
• Installation of ISCO automated stormwater sampling equipment with rain gauges
• Weekly site inspections and inspection report documentation
• Collection and laboratory analysis of stormwater samples during qualifying rain events
• Daily rainfall and turbidity recording
• Preparation and submission of monthly compliance reports to the client
• BMP repair and maintenance as needed throughout construction

Results

The project remained in full NPDES permit compliance throughout the construction period. AECS's proactive BMP management and responsive inspection program helped the client avoid permit violations and associated penalties.
